About Us

Our mission

Future Prints Childcare is a dual language program that provides top quality care and education to children ages 6 weeks to 7 years old.

Each child will be part of a happy, healthy and learning environment, while being immersed in the spanish language.

Exceeding all New York state and local guidelines of Health and Safety is one of our top priorities. We are a group family daycare who provides not only a child care service but also a family nurturing setting that will help our little ones achieve their key milestones.

Our flexible curriculum gives each child the opportunity to build their individual strengths and talents, while allowing them to learn new skills and expand their development.

We provide enriching opportunities every day for our children to reach their full potential socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually and cognitively within a learning environment.

Our Director

As a Washington Heights native; I am very proud to share my programs with our community and New York City!

At an early age, I babysat and tutored family members and neighbors. As a youth, I was an active member of my community and participated in many hours of community service.

Being part of different organizations gave me the opportunity to have wonderful mentors.

I possess a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Stony Brook University. While at Stony Brook I was a peer educator, promoting healthier choices in the college environment.

As a former Columbia University Medical Center employee. I worked as an administrative assistant, I knew I had a bigger purpose which I wanted to share as an educator and a resource with children and their families.

After attending countless hours of training in child care and obtaining my Child Development Credential (CDA), I am now pursuing a Masters in Early Education at Bank Street College of Education.

As a graduate student, I plan to implement a progressive learning environment at all Future Prints programs.

Our Program History

In 2014 Future Prints Childcare was established, today we are a network of family daycares. We provide quality childcare for many families. We have immersed our children into the Spanish language giving the opportunity to learn a second language at an early age. Our students are supported with every milestone.

We are a multicultural program caring for children of all backgrounds.

We have implemented a curriculum that is emergent, both flexible and structured in order to help our children achieve their key milestones and also prepare them for the future.

Finding and sustaining funding is a constant concern for any non-profit.

The pandemic has exacerbated the uncertainties for small organizations offering art and quality care for uptown’s youngest residents.

Since 2013, Dance Project of Washington Heights has aimed to make dance more accessible by eliminating cost, language and travel barriers. Co-founder Heather White-Godfrey offered pay-what-you-can classes first at Fort Washington Collegiate Church and later at United Palace.

Most recently, White-Godfrey secured space at P.S. 4, where the group served 350 children with 50 classes a week just before the pandemic.
